咖啡因創造假的生產力

不少人習慣每天一早來杯咖啡開啟新的一天,更有些人過了幾小時又想再來一杯,覺得咖啡能提升精力,似乎也沒啥壞處。

事實上咖啡並不能真的給予我們能量,有時候還會妨礙大腦運轉,尤其當你休息不夠的時候。

你可能以為咖啡能幫助清醒,但其實它只是抑制了你想要休息的感覺,咖啡還會讓體內釋放壓力荷爾蒙,這很可能讓你更焦慮、睡眠品質更差,還有可能導致筋膜緊繃帶來更多疼痛問題。

喝咖啡會啟動大腦的獎勵機制,每次喝的時候都快樂的感覺。咖啡因就是一種會成癮的東西,長時間下來,可能就需要越來越多才有感覺,停喝的話還會有戒斷症狀。

所以,我們建議戒除咖啡因,慢慢找回不靠咖啡因也能正常工作的感覺,雖然這可能是個挑戰,但不倚靠外力,你將能更有效地解決很多問題。

Most people’s morning routine includes drinking a cup of coffee. It’s a necessary part of starting the day. For many, only a few hours later, want to reach of another cup to get through the second half of the day. They feel as though coffee gives them that extra boost of energy and there’s very little harm to it.

The problem is coffee doesn’t give you energy, it blocks your brain from communicating when you have low energy. If you wake up in the morning not well rested, but you drink coffee, you may never figure out how to get the rest you need in order to endogenously produce the energy you need to get through your day.

Coffee also increases the release of stress hormones in your body, leading to a variety of potential detriments like increase in anxiety, poor sleep, and more pain due to tightening of fascia.

Coffee also activates the reward system in your brain making you feel a sense of accomplishment every time you drink it. Caffeine is a psychoactive drug, and it has all the characteristics of an addictive substance. You can build a tolerance and therefore always need more in order to feel the same effects. If you stop drinking it, you will experience withdrawal symptoms.

We recommend weening off caffeine so you can establish a new normal where you are able to function without it. It is going to be a struggle but you will be able to solve many of your problems by not masking them with a drug.
